Recovery Progress

Brief

A new feature was needed to help the user track the following performance stats:

  • Range of Motion (RoM)

  • Exercise Completion

  • Pain Score

  • Step Count

  • Active Time

Final Design

WEEK VIEW

Week view, gives the option to select a single data point for a detailed summary of a specific day. The week average is displayed by default.

The RoM graph displays the highest achievable range for flexion and extension.

SCALING Y-AXIS

The y-axis scales dynamically on both the Active Time and Step Count graphs. The largest value on the y-axis scales to 5% higher than the largest value recorded in both the current and previous weeks. The values shown on the y-axis don't change when the weeks are toggled, making it possible to compare different weeks.

MISSING DATA

Someone using MotionSense may decide not to the use the app or sensors on a specific day. In this case the app doesn't collect data for that day but that day can still be selected.

MONTH VIEW

The same behaviour listed above is also applied to the Month view. One change that was implemented after testing this view, was the ability to slide you finger across the data on the graph to select specific days, as it was much harder to select a single data point on this view.

ALL VIEW

No data can be selected on the All view which displays all data in a single graph. Dynamic x-axis scales to data range.
